Our Mission
We are filled with southern hospitality and from the Appalachian mountains to the Gulf Coast, we are surrounded by the natural beauty of God's creation.
The Gulf States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is comprised of the geographical territories of Alabama, Mississippi, and Northwest Florida with headquarters located in Montgomery, Alabama.
Core Values
In Gulf States we value some core principles and we push for the whole community to adopt them
Modesty
We don't need to worry about expensive clothing or jewelry in order to be loved and accepted by God.
Family
Throughout history families have formed the basic unit of society. Ellen White wrote: "The family tie is the closest, the most tender and sacred, of any on earth" (The Adventist Home, p. 18).
Community
A church is a family—a place where people love one another enough to help one another through hard times.
