Welcome to the:
Department of Youth
and Children's Ministries
Matthew 6 records a prayer from Jesus in which He asked God
for "Your Kingdom to come and Your will to be done, on EARTH as it is in
HEAVEN." It is a prayer we are all familiar with. It is a prayer
summarizing the goal of the Gulf States Conference Youth Ministries Department.
We want to be about recreating God's kingdom in the here and now. While we
wait anxiously for the coming kingdom, God has given us the responsibility to
help make His will real on earth. We want to teach young people how their
Christianity can affect the world around them. We want to partner with the
local churches and schools to be the hands of Christ to a world in need.
