Growing in Faith Through Service

"No one prompted Him to create us.  He made us of His own free will, lovingly and tenderly, with all the risks involved.  He also gave us spiritual gifts through the power of His word to make us the choicest of all His creatures."   James 1:18 (The Clear Word)

How are you using your GIFTS in ministry for Christ?  This page has been created to showcase your ministry, whether it is writing poems, doing active Bible Studies, or anything else in service for Him.  Send your information to Tawana Threlkeld to have it posted.

Growing In Faith Through Service

The King adopted many daughters

Cherishing each one as if she were an only child
Being there for her through every trial
Loving her for who she is
Not for what she does
Longing for her to depend on Him
Craving total trust
So He bids her to place her confidence in what He can do
In a still small voice King Jesus whispers . . .
"Walk by faith and I will work through you
I have gifted you with everything you need
When you use your gifts, My kingdom will increase
Struggling to make it on their own
Some claim life to be unfair
They have no idea who they are
You must show them that you care
Open up your gifts of love and compassion
Those will prepare you to be a friend
When others unwrap your gift of friendship
Hurting hearts begin to mend
So, My daughter, if you desire to be of Christian Service,

you must understand
"Your faith will grow
Only as long as you hold tightly to My hand"
