Welcome to the:
Communication Department
Through the dissemination of news
and information the Conference Communication Department is dedicated to
creating a climate for one to accept Jesus Christ, to developing a public
awareness of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and to maintaining a positive
image which will stand in time of crisis. Our mission is to touch
lives for Jesus.
The
Communiqué, as the
Conference newsletter, is produced by the Communication Department and
mailed quarterly to the members.
Another responsibility of the
Department is to submit monthly articles and features about events that have
happened in the Conference to the Southern Union for publication in the
Southern Tidings.
Local churches are encouraged to
send stories and photos to the Conference to be used in these publications.
These are powerful tools to keep our members informed, to encourage others
and to share the good news about the exciting things happening in the local
churches and throughout the Conference.
The Department promotes the use of
proper directional and yard signs for all churches. The use of the
official Seventh-day Adventist logo is encouraged.
The Communication Department serves
as a resource to help the local church communication coordinator.
The Department is also involved in
producing a number of other programs, brochures, and fliers, such as
yearbook ads, the Conference directory cover and other material as needed.
To keep costs down, layout and design for these publications (including the
Communiqué and the Conference
Southern Tidings sections) are all done by
the Communication Director.
To submit information, please
contact
Rebecca Grice, Communications Director.
